Academic Sales Executive

 

Location: Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Days: Tuesday – Saturday

Working Hours: 9.00AM – 6.00PM

Salary Range: RM3,500-RM4,000+ (basic + allowances + commission)

HH Korean Language Center is a growing Malaysian MSME dedicated to providing top-quality Korean language education. We are looking for an Academic Sales Executive to drive student enrollment, enhance customer engagement, and support overall sales and marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for a results-driven and customer-focused professional with experience in education sales, student recruitment, or service-based industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Acquisition & Sales Growth

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students via WhatsApp, social media, and phone, converting leads into confirmed enrollments.
  • Conduct personalized consultations to understand student needs and recommend the most suitable courses.
  • Maintain a strong conversion rate by following up with potential leads and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Prepare monthly sales materials including pricelists, intake posters, sales deck and sales infographics to support enrollment efforts.

2. Corporate & HRDF Sales Development

  • Identify and target corporates, educational institutions, and training providers for potential partnerships and bulk enrollments.
  • Promote HRDF-claimable courses to HR departments and training managers.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain strong professional networks to secure bulk or long-term enrollments.

3. Academic Support – Scheduling & Class Coordination

  • Assist the teacher-in-charge by coordinating with other teachers to confirm their availability for new or adjusted class schedules.
  • Plan the mode (online/offline), type (regular, intensive, TOPIK prep, etc.), and location (branch, partner venue, corporate site) for new classes based on demand and teacher availability.
  • Communicate proposed class plans to the person-in-charge and relevant departments (Academic, Marketing, Admin) for alignment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date class rosters, WhatsApp group chats, and contact lists to ensure smooth coordination between teachers and students.

4. Monthly Reporting & Data Management

  • Record and maintain all student inquiries, enrollments, and class updates in the Notion database accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Generate monthly sales and performance summaries using data from Notion, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Work with the Marketing and Academic teams to refine student acquisition strategies based on data insights.

5. Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with Admin, Events and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth student journey from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Actively contribute ideas and feedback in team meetings to enhance sales strategies and operational efficiency.

 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or any related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese speaker is preferred (language allowance provided).
  • Comfortable handling customer enquiries via WhatsApp, calls, and social media.
  • Basic computer skills (Google Docs, Excel, CRM systems is a plus).
  • Willing to learn, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Positive attitude, responsible, and good follow-up skills.
  • Enjoy interacting with people.
